In 2004 BCI launched its new subsidiary BCNC, which is based in Yanbu on the Red Sea coast. The plant produces Sulphuric acid, Battery acid and Sulphuric acid derivatives.
The commissioning of the plant took place in early 2005; the plant was built using state-of-the-art technology assuring that the quality of its products are second to none.
Because Sulphuric acid has so many uses, the industrial development of a country is sometimes measured by the amount of Sulphuric acid it uses each year.
