1985 as the kingdom’s first manufacturer of
rigid polyurethane chemicals. The company has
been instrumental in securing the lion’s share
of the insulation market and promoting the
versatile plastic materials beyond its
conventional applications.
With the technical back-up from its joint
venture partner Huntsman Polyurethanes, APC
offers soft, rigid, and semi-rigid polyurethane
systems for the manufacture of different density
foams. Being the lightest insulation material
with the lowest thermal conductivity,
polyurethane foam has emerged as the no.1 choice
of insulation product in the Arabian Peninsula.
The success of this product owes a lot to the
company’s marketing strategies and its ability
to blend the chemicals in order to match and
answer the customers ever changing
specifications.
The tailor-made polyol systems are tested in the
company’s Quality Control Laboratory, a facility
that benefits from the research and product
development efforts of Huntsman Polyurethanes,
whose contribution to the development of
polyurethane technology is acknowledged
world-wide. Besides covering the vast Saudi
Arabian market, APC regularly exports to markets
in the Gulf States and other Middle Eastern
countries.
